Project Description

This property is a typical block of purpose built self-contained mansions flats, consisting of four storeys in red brick with a semi-basement, set back from the road behind a carriage drive. This property was designed by William Hunt, and the development was completed in 1897.

The works undertaken included the cleaning and refurbishment of the property, the complete replacement of the main roof coverings, extensive repairs to the laminated and damaged brick façade, replacement of the rainwater goods and full decorations.

Oher works undertaken as part of a planned rolling programme included the installation of a new pumped water main, with new connections to 107 flats, and the replacement of the entrance footpath in new limestone and granite and tarmac driveway, and the reinstatement of the metal entrance gates and lighting.
